I was finally able to go and check out GoRun Running Stores customer appreciation night and what a night it was! What made this event even more special was the fact that it was their Halloween edition and costumes were encouraged!
What’s cool about this event is that Doug (the owner) has this event once a month to show his appreciation to his customers (Duh! that’s what the name implies); and what he does is along with the usual run club (this event was held at the Kendall location) he gets a bunch of different vendors and has raffles and giveaways to show his love for all the support we, his customers, give to the store. And there was no shortage of love at this event!
Some of the vendors included: Hoka One One, South Florida Rehab, Fresh Meal Plans, Orange Theory Fitness, Aminorip
And what’s even better is the free beer at the end of the run!
I got to test run the Hoka One One Arahi shoes. For the first run “out of the box” I have to say they weren’t that bad. They were lighter than your normal Hoka, but were stable and gave the support of your typical Hoka shoes. I would need to give them a couple more runs to give a full review.
South Florida Rehab was there to give some physical therapy post run; Fresh Meal Plans was out there and was serving up some delicious food; Aminorip was giving out samples of their new and improved formulas (they taste better too); Orange Theory was there to offer sign ups.
All in all, it was a great night and I can’t wait for the next one!
